The Howard family planted Bridges of Hope Fellowship in October 2006. They began by putting up a website and spreading the word with invitation that a new church was starting for those who might have interest in being a part. 

The first meeting took place at Best Western Hotel on Sparta Street in McMinnville, TN.  From there, the small group of 41 people who showed interest, 5 acres of land was purchased for a future home location.  The group moved out of the hotel to a former church building that was available to rent, where the group would meet for the next six months.  In June of 2007, the 5 acres of land was dedicated to the Lord and the group began worshipping in a warehouse facility at 220 Snow Hollow Lane off of Hwy. 55.  In October 2009, the group broke ground on a new facility situated on the purchased land.  The church moved to a smaller facility on Smithville Hwy., approximately 1 and a half miles from the new building location.  On May 29, 2010, the group began the new building project with over 500 volunteers from 5 different states and huge donations from all over the country.  The new 5,400 sq. ft. facility, which houses worship center, classrooms, offices, and foyer, was built turn key in just 60 days and dedicated on August 1, 2010.

Today, the church is growing and expanding in some amazing ways.  Each Sunday, the services can be watched LIVE online at 10:30 a.m. (CST) at www.sermon.net/pastord
