The longtime Gaither Homecoming artist, Anthony Burger, goes home to be with the Lord at the age of 44.

Southern Gospel Music News sources report that Anthony Burger passed away while playing the piano on a Gaither Gospel Music Cruise ship today.

Reports stated that Anthony was playing Dottie Rambo's song, "We Shall Behold Him," when he grabbed his chest while having an apparent heart attack and tried to get up and stumbled.  Someone caught him and helped him backstage, where they tried to shock his heart to revive him, but to no avail.  Certainly, Anthony is beholding the Lamb of God that he so often told others about.

Faith and family were of utmost importance to Anthony.  He lived with his wife, LuAnn, and their children, Lori, AJ, and Austin.  The family resides near Nashville, TN.

Anthony's brother, Randy, owns and operates Burger Music in Athens, Tn and has been friends of ours for a long time.  Clint, Anthony's other brother, works there too.  Their father and mother live in Cleveland.

Please be much in prayer for the Burger family as they were friends of ours.  We will post more details as they are released.
